Trump's press weasel's faltering attempt to spank the media; meanwhile, millions of women protest the Trumpster

With False Claims, Trump Attacks Media on Turnout and Intelligence Rift (NYT)
President Trump used his first full day in office on Saturday to unleash a remarkably bitter attack on the news media, falsely accusing journalists of both inventing a rift between him and intelligence agencies and deliberately understating the size of his inauguration crowd....
In challenge to Trump, women protesters swarm streets across U.S.: Women descend on D.C. to protest Trump (Reuters)
Women took to the streets in unexpectedly large numbers in major U.S. cities on Saturday in mass protests against U.S. President Donald Trump, in an early indication of the strong opposition the newly inaugurated Republican may face in office.
Hundreds of thousands of women - many wearing pink knit hats to evoke comments by Trump that triggered outrage among many - filled long stretches of downtown Washington around the White House and National Mall. Hundreds of thousands more women thronged New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and Boston to rebuke Trump on his first full day in office....

They ought to grow up. The vote happened and it is done. In November you posted a study that suggests ignorant white men elected Trump. These demonstrations show who the ignorant really are, those who refuse to accept the outcome of the American democratic process.

Ok, 11:50 PM, but we are in America, not Russia or North Korea or China. Folks, under the current Constitution have every right to protest, to express their concerns. Since when does an election empower only the leader? Should not that person represent each of us?

Trump has repeatedly said that he represents and serves all people and that the people won. What part of that do the not understand? Women already have more rights than they know what to do with. Getting really tired of seeing women parading around with goofy drawings of vaginas. Why does it always have to be about lady parts with these people?

9:00, I don't understand the claim that "the people won." Three million more Americans voted for Clinton than for Trump. Yes, Trump won the electoral college, but that doesn't entitle you to say that the "people won," now does it?
Women have "more rights than they know what to do with"? What on Earth is that supposed to mean?

You're right, 11:50, we're not accepting the outcome and there was no actual democratic process in play. Clinton won by a huge margin, throw in scurrilous fake news, Russian meddling and hacking, and an assist by the FBI, and here we are. An illegitimate figurehead.

Republicans are, you see, the party of cheaters. Go back to Bush v. Gore, and then add redistricting, gerrymandering, and voter suppression. Don't forget the Supreme Court fiasco last year, when they simply made up a blatantly unconstitutional rule. Now we have this horror, and we've had enough.

8:14, Clinton lost because she was a lousy candidate and a lying criminal. The "huge margin" you speak of is the illegal allien and fraudster vote. Hillary and Obama have shown us who the real party of cheaters is. Your side has perfected the art of doing real hideous things and then blaming it on the Republicans. Seems like that's the only thing you party is really good at.

Yes, all those hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens trucked to voting booths. Imagine the logistics. But then, you'll believe anything your corporate masters tell you, right, Sparky?

You see, 5:45, we use facts, which your party is not good at.

But, ok--let's have a Congressional investigation into this massive voter fraud. Your pals wasted time and money looking into Whitewater and Benghazi, for example, so now support getting this little matter cleared up. We're on board--how about you?

Or better yet, as there was all this fraud, let's have a new election!
