Justice's contract extended; South County dominated by one party (duh)

     You’ll recall that I left Monday’s board meeting amid the board’s discussion of item 6.6. A reader alerts us to 6.7.E.1, which concerns "administrator contract extensions."
     I'm afraid it's bad news:

     I suppose that the reader's point is that 6.7.E.1 was approved, and this means that Craig Justice's contract has been extended to June 2015.
     Items 7.1 and 7.2 were reports on progress, per college, on SLOs. Those reports were unremarkable, with IVC's Academic Senate Prez once again introduced by Craig Justice, then chirping forth positivity about the whole damned business.
     Item 7.8 was a report, requested by Trustee Fuentes, on party registration in SOCCCD's service area:

     It appears that the only "Democrat" (i.e., Democratic) zones are in western Laguna Beach, portions of western Irvine, and a section of Tustin along its western border.
