     A highly regarded dean at the flagship campus of the University of Texas announced this week that he was leaving the school in part because of his concerns over a new state law allowing people to carry concealed firearms in classrooms and other buildings on public college campuses....

The textbook industry coupled with the corporate bookstore on campus model is a complete unethical sickening scam rip-off of our students. I completely support and outwardly encourage our students to find legal ways of acquiring the materials for classes in the open market and not buying such things from the college bookstores. These people are vultures and slimebags.
