Is this confirmed from another source?

Not long ago, I heard through the grapevine that he wasn't going to be recommended for renewal toward tenure. But I've heard no confirmation. Such decisions, of course, involve the instructor's "tenure review committee," who make a recommendation to the dean. From there, it goes to, I think, the VPI and the Prez--and then the board. If all goes well, the action reflects the judgment of the TRC, which comprises faculty and the dean. I have no idea who is on his TRC.

John, Richard now Mark...the campus is starting to smell better! I just don't understand why it takes so long for administration to see the problems we see and have to deal with every day.

Nobody was fired.

He made an announcement in the counseling meeting he was "retiring" which is curious considering he has only been here for 12 months. Draw your own conclusions from that announcement however if you know how the system works around this place it's clear he was forced out.

Indeed. A "separation" worked out after a series of inexcusable events. Too bad for the other finalists for this position who were not handpicked pals of Glenn's.
