Behold the huntress. Maybe two weeks ago, I watched TigerAnn jump into the air and catch a bird. I managed to get it away from her and save it. Whew!
The next day, bird B wasn't so lucky. Then the Tige discovered lizards. Now, no reptile anywhere near the Fortress of Absurditude is safe.
She's a savage, she is, that TigerAnn.
A brute, a beast, in a savage Land!

NOT YET SAVAGES. A friend of mine who fosters kittens 'n' cat moms sent me these photos. Here's a recent brood. (Click on photo to enlarge it. Check out the tiny faces.)

POUNDCAT. This 25-pound gal is known as "Poundcake." She's on a diet.
(TigerAnn is a mere 6 1/2 pounds! Sunny was 5 1/2!)
"Feeding time." Mom's another tiger cat. "They're the best," says Ms. W.

Poundcake is a great name.
Now that she's on a diet, the name will gradually become inappropriate. May I suggest "Angel Food"?
