Exactly. This is how administrators, who dominate and serve on each others' accreditation teams, have marginalized and muzzled the elected watchdogs of CCs up and down the state. Their message to board members: "When students, faculty, or staff expose corruption, mismanagement, and incompetence, just look the other way or you'll lose your accreditation. Anything outside of complete and blind faith in the administration is micromanagement." With no one to curb their excesses, the psychopaths running IVC, for example, inevitably run the institution into the ground.
