Oddly, in our district, the piñata tradition is strictly binary.

Your assertion of those two absolutes is incorrect. I bet most of the district's managers don't fit either, and they're somewhere in the center.

Cartoons, like jokes, aren't any good if you've got to 'splain 'em. The board refuses to look into Glenn's mismanagement, it seems, owing to their fear of being accused of "micromanagement." I'm suggesting that, in stead of simply managing, they're stepping away and doing nothing, as though two vices made a virtue.
Like I said, if you've got to explain it, it didn't work.
