Appeal or Bust (Inside Higher Ed)
     There are no clear answers to the question of where City College of San Francisco’s 85,000 students will go if the college shuts down next year. That unprecedented and nightmarish scenario became a real possibility last week when the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges voted to strip the college of its accreditation in June 2014….

The ACCJC under the direction of Babs Beano has overreached it's original mission and is out to control what goes on at community colleges.
The heavy-handedness is not in the best interest of the students, faculty or staff. Someone needs to step in and curb their authority.

Face it, California can no longer afford to support the community college system or any other system(CSU/UC). Nickel, dime budget cuts are not fast enough or deep enough. The cost savings is in shutting them down and cutting them out. Hold on, state wide it is going to be fun to watch.
