California is not Arizona, Don
Matt Coker of Navel Gazing reports that despite the best efforts of OC’s own Donald Wagner and Jim Silva (and one other Republican), anti-immigration legislation modeled after Arizona’s notorious SB1070 failed to make it out of the Assembly Judiciary Committee yesterday.

I hope the people who gave him money are happy with the evil they bought.
I didn't give him any money, thank god, but I am stunned that he would support this. Simply stunned. You can watch the video of the assembly judiciary hearing at calchannel.com. Also, keep an eye on Diane Harkey, she is right by Don's side. Dear lord. Who have we in the OC elected? Perhaps Don and Diane ought to consider moving their happy families to AZ?
Both college presidents and countless administrators gave money to Wagner's campaign so he could promote policies like this one. Think of that next time you're in a meeting with them.
Also, why not ask them what Wagner is doing to maintain full funding of community colleges. You'll find out that Wagner, along with all the republican in Sacto, is eager to gut us - and that they, politically, support that too. Really.
