Is this the same guy who proposed putting a bunch of shoes of famous people in the library?

It is indeed the same guy.

That idea guy has some really special ideas, doesn't he?

It's all true!

Where did he come from?

Where did he come from?
Tom Fuentes brought him in.
Tom Fuentes makes sure he stays there.

He does a good job in tough times, bringing innovative ideas for fundraising to the Foundation. He thinks outside the box.

Unfortunately, he never wanders outside the box, and so he doesn't do much thinking as it turns out.

These characters have some weird tics, man. It's like they're dancing or something. And the guy is a lunkhead.

A book burning is not thinking outside the box. Neither is collecting the stinky old footwear of famous people and enclosing them in glass boxes in a college library foyer. Nor is auctioning off small dogs. Or a Broadway Extravaganza. Or charging for small name plates screwed to the seats in the PAC. (Check out how many didn't pay for that privilege!)

I don't know what box this guy lives in but he's lucky that he has friends in high places protecting him.

I missed the puppy auction.

When did that happen?

Isn't this the same wise guy who wanted to build a hotel, convention cneter, theater and lake on IVC's south forty?

5:39, you're confusing Mr. T with Mr. Gensler. They don't really have much in common. Cluelessness vs. some kind of narcissistic insanity.
