Please, Reb--no more. There's just too much of this negativity going on. People will do what they think is right on Election Day, and they have the right to make decisions that you don't agree with. People have lost sight of that. Nov. 5 can't come soon enough.

Thanks for the classic tune Reb - very spirited.

And, uh, 9:02, I don't think Rebel Girl has ever suggested that people don't have the "right" to make decisions that she doesn't agree with - quiet the contrary. But that doesn't mean she can't or shouldn't express herself.

And I don't find Reb negative - just thoughtful. It's important to think. Really. I mean the Chad Mitchell Trio - you can't get more positive than that.

Ah, yes, the inevitable has arrived. Too much democracy, too much civic participation, too much history and the important call to return to infantilism, consumerism and the right not to think and be a grownup. Governing hurts. Participating, learning, challenging knuckleheads...that's okay but only if it is polite and ends soon so that we can go back to pretendland, right next to Home Depot and Legoland and Disneyland and Two-Party Status Quoland. People will do what they think is wrong. Nov 5 still means the US war on Iraq and the biggest gift to capital in the history of the world and foreclosure and negativity, real negativity not the privileged kind which so upsets people who get to make all of it for the rest of the world. Grow up.
