Chancellor Mathur blights another 4th of July parade

This is a very brief video of Mathur's appearance today at the Lake Forest Fourth of July Parade. Somebody sent me literally two seconds of video. I stretched it to two minutes. So it's two seconds of video and 1:58 of credits. (Just kidding.)

The YouTube video includes secretly taped audio of a Lake Forest resident who was evidently displeased by Mathur's presence in the parade. He curses like a m*ther-f*cker. It's pretty scandalous, I'd say.

The banner on the car mentions Mathur's usual companion, Trustee Tom Fuentes. Fuentes, however, was not in the car, unless he was in the trunk. He'd been replaced with a lovely Saddleback College athlete. Don't know her name.

Mathur's car was followed by a big Wienermobile. I think the city of Lake Forest was saying to Mathur, "You, sir, are a big wiener."

I'm sure of it. Check out the pics below (sent to me by a famous lesbian couple, friends of mine; someday, they'll be marchin' in that parade).

Once again, great coverage from DISSENT! Thanks Chunk!

I was watching the parade on TV to look for friends, and the TV announcer said "There is Tom Fuentes the Trustee representing Lake Forest on SOCCD."

I'm on the committee, and, yeah, that's exactly what we were trying to say to Mathur.

If you'll recall that fine classic American film "Animal House", you all should be kicking yourself for not "entering" your own DtB float.

Maybe next time?

What I absolutely like best about this post and these photos is the weenie people from Oscar Meyer's community outreach/PR/parade department went to all that effort to customize their float --- they just hung an American flag on the front of the hood. Wow! Now, I wonder why the weenie in front is not draped in flaggery, huh? Well? Perhaps a close-up would reveal he is sporting a lapel pin? God Bless America! Pass the mustard.

Yah, and if we're to trust the photo, the flag is hung BACKWARDS--stars on the left, folks!

Tells me something about the "quality" of THAT parade!

You can believe the photo.
But once you're riding on a gigantic wiener, such details seem pointless.

Is there anything worse than a parade? (ok, yes, brain cancer,)but, man, the endless self involved people strutting along and the mindless nationalism are appalling.

Roy's obituary in LA Times and Register: "we were lucky to have you while we did"
