Recent images, recent things

Mr. Moon, two or three hours ago.

Looking east, again, two or three hours ago.

Flag waving, a turd in a punchbowl, along Santiago Canyon, yesterday.

My Chrysler 300, along Santiago Canyon, yesterday, a mile or two above Cook's Corner.

Burnt tree on hill, in the new grass, sprouting leaves. Yesterday, along Santiago Canyon Road.

Sand Canyon, just a few days ago, looking north. It sure has changed.

I think this fellow will go far:

"Burnt tree ... sprouting leaves" is wonderful--and, I hope, will someday serve as a symbol for what *could* happen to your district, if you could somehow be free of the rat bastards....

Awesome.

Imagine that this time America hires a thoughtful person.

Imagine a president with a brain, and not a bag man for the military industrial complex.

Hi Chunk! Thanks for posting this video of Obama's press conference about his former reverend." I didn't get the chance to see it on Monday, so now I can watch it.

2nd, I posted something pretty long under the Sampson article. I'm not sure if you'll check that one b/c there isn't anywhere to see if there are any comments. I figured you could always read it. Also, I'm amazed about how much I remembered about what happened during these "good old days" w/Dottie, Teddie, Frogue, & Williams, & for the most part I didn't even have to review any of the video. Yes, I do have a life, but I also have an excellent memory for these sorts of things.:-)

What I'm referring to is the video w/Teddie's delusions of persecution & w/Wagner giving his 10 minutes of blathering about the "Jesus" issue that Ced faxed him on regarding invocations.:-)

It is so ironic that a Christian preacher will likely be the downfall of the radically left candidate Obamababble when all of you leftist dissenters are so anti-Christian. Enjoyably laughable for this right-wing neocon!!!!!!!

Are you talking about Hagee, 6:21?

I can't run no more with that lawless crowd, while the killers in high places say their prayers aloud.

My grandmother is a "typical white person" ??? Obama appears to have graduated from the George W. Bush foot-in-mouth academy. This guys is as dumb as a brick!

Chunk, that's a nice way to think of it: will go far no matter what.

Anon. 11:11: the typical white person in most parts of this country *does* deny that racism exists / is a problem, etc. A little bit like you, maybe?

Anon. 6:21: Obama's a centrist. Left would be someone like me, and I'm not even radical left. A whole lot of the Obama people are Christian. Christianity has a long tradition of dissent and work for social justice. This is done, I understand (not being a Christian myself), to follow the example of Jesus.
