One might be under the impression that all "public comments" at SOCCCD board meetings that opine re Mr. Goo (aka Chancellor Raghu P. Mathur) are hostile to the fellow.
Not! Every now and again, Mathur's supporters among faculty and classified management show up to read a passionate statement in defense of the fellow.
Well, no, not passionate. But a defense.
Sort of. Check out the video below.

Cascading computers!

Bob Cosgrove is my new hero.
One question: who is the drop-dead handsome fellow on the right-hand side (opposite the lovely photo of Rebel Girl)?
Sorry, but that's Ezra Pound. A little DtB humor for you.
I'm not saying EP wasn't gorgeous (circa 1920), or that he was a bad poet, but he did have some odd admirations.
Now when they roll out Helen L., to speak, they are indeed scraping the barrel.
I just started watching your video clips. Wow! Job well done, CW!
Ezra Pound was mentally ill.
Hot damn! Movies!
Can we count on this as a weekly feature of DISSENT?
It will take the edge off the semester.
Now I know why I don't go to those board meetings...shudder, shudder. But thanks for the coverage.
I was walking past SOMEONE's cubicle today and I heard the unmistakeable bassline of "You did a Raghu Thing"...
You've done a fine job all these years Chunk keeping up our spirits. And now you've given us a soundtrack!
People should remember to turn the sound on their computers waaaaaaay down or they're gonna get us.
They've already gotten us.
And you're being watched!
Helen does okay when she's reading that inspirational crap about leadership (didn't I see that on a poster somewhere?) but oh when she begins to try to speak on her own...jeez. Can someone say lack of parallelism?
I'll say it: "lack of parallelism."
Or, in other words, incoherence.
I HOPE (!) you got today's show on tape Chunk!
I'm popping popcorn while I wait!
(squeal!)
Cosgrove sounds a little preachy. Is he an evangelist?
