"Hey, we're not making this up," part 2. Trustee Fuentes' Spanish Adventure

THIS IS the second in a series that we call "Hey, we're not making this up!"

Who would believe that a trustee might nix a college's study abroad program to Spain (in part) because Spain had withdrawn its troops from Iraq?

Don't be ridiculous! Nobody would do that!

Oh yeah? Check this out (on YouTube, from 2005).

Here's to Fuentes - a man with cajones! Damn Spaniards are cowards, the lot of them.

Did Fuentes serve in the military, or is he the usual republican chickenhawk?

Don't ask - he'll never tell.

I almost didn't believe it even as I watched it. One shakes one's head in wonder. Perfect soundtrack, Chunk.

I wonder how Tom would feel about a student field trip to New York City considering his concern for student safety and the possibility of terrorist attacks...perhaps he would consult the DHS color coded threat warning oracle or maybe he could just pick a phone up and ask Rudy himself how things are in NYC?

BTW nice video...I sure wish we had some of our Board idiots in action.
