Thanksgiving in Pacifica

It's been good. Thanksgiving dinner was great (see tofurkey below), Tiger Ann has been loads of peevish furry fun, and the weather has been perfect. And in Pacifica!

Thinking about heading up to Lincoln Park today (San Francisco), checking out the oil damage. Or just the beauty. Later!

Fantastic pictures! Your canyon isn't looking as good at the moment though, it's very windy and still looks like its on fire (though, it appears to be that 'wind theory' you talked about, where the wind + ash gives the illusion of a fire still abrewin' nearby)

Yuck! You ate that stuff?

Our Thanksgiving was pleasant enough -as was our T-day #2 (up in the mountains) complete with tofurky and all the trimmings though we were awakened at 4 am by shouts of "fire" - no kidding.

Winds howling, power out, Red' uncle's cabin two doors down, ablaze.

We did what we could as did the terrific firefighters but, well, it's nearly a total loss - it was an 110-year-old old log cabin. No one hurt though - and it didn't spread. Still.

And here we are - ashes again.

Home tomorrow.

Thanksgiving was marvelous! We had a bounty of savory vegie dishes topped with my home made sweet potata pie.

BTW: I am hangin' in there, the visit from my brother lifted my spirits, thanks.

To the sophmorron clown that said "Yuck! You ate that stuff". I did take a second look at the Tofurky bolus photo, and it does not do it justice, looks questionable doesn't it? I can assure you it was lip smackin' good.
