The new homeopathic "study" aid

.
Evidently, it's all the rage. Students say it works!
For when you really need to "get a A."

See Wiki

P.S.: I'm told that there's a parallel universe in which advertising is a tad more honest. There, the ad campaign goes like this:

It works? Where do you get it?

Maybe the Bush Administration should just buy this stuff and distribute it around the country? Couldn't hurt.

Shouldn't it be "Get An A On"?

Lord. Are you aware of this: http://www.pickaprof.com/ - I've just discovered it. Apparently UCB formally partnered with it!!! Harvard isn't on it. It tells people what your grade distribution was / is, so that they can "find courses they can excel in." Ahem. And now it lets professors talk back ... so it is an "exciting service for both students and professors." HMMM. I have nothing
much to hide but ... I don't like it, it seems too Oprah-esque.

When I was a child - I mean an undergraduate - there were still reviews of classes that were entirely student generated, no university or corporate services in between. I am not sure how it was funded and done but it did *not* seem to be run by student government types. I am nostalgic for this.

Thanks, Prof Z.

I looked up our college on "Pick a Prof," but they don't seem to have any data on us yet. Or not on me anyway.

I think that's cuz our college doesn't keep records. Or they lost 'em.

And Jonathan: maybe it's just me, but I do hear students say "get a B," etc., quite often. I was poking fun at that. Too subtle? Unfunny?

Just to keep things simple, I redid my little spoof, as you can see. If you have any other suggestions, be sure to let me know.
