Preparing for Monday's Big Meeting

Chancellor Mathur's secret motto: Magister mundi sum!

Twenty years as the county GOP chair has given Tom a keen ear for ridiculous utterances. (Like "Spain has abandoned our fighting men and women.")

Nancy, Marcia, and Bill are a force to be reckoned with. Boy, they really finessed that ALA vote.

Really, Raghu is plenty worried. But Big Daddy Tom calls the shots, apparently.

Cuiusvis hominis est errare, nullius nisi insipientis in errore perseverare.

Dave, is that you?
Dave, we love you anew!

Now look up BP2100.1 and read it. It's not complicated.

Get a friggin' clue.

I am so sorry.

I realize that faculty worked themselves sick on my behalf during that tough election - they gave of their time and money, they sacrificed and they thought they had earned my trust and understanding.

I then I betrayed them in ways that shocked us all, me included. I didn't know how low I could sink until is sank.

Forgive me.

So much for being family oriented. You white-eyes speak with fork-ed tongue.

Saying that somebody "fucked up" is not even remotely salacious. Maybe you've never heard that word before, but it means "lecherous" or "lustful." There's nothing lecherous or lustful about saying that Dave fucked up. It's a little colorful, but not lecherous.

Anonymous 6:23 is alluding to Chunk's recent comment:

I deleted the last comment. This is a family blog, more or less.

Gratuitous salaciousness just won't do.

Again, it would be different of Anonymous had a point. But no.

So the issue is, is saying that Dave "fucked up" gratuitously salacious? Is it allowable in a "more or less" family blob?

family blog or family BLOB?

I vote for the latter.

Dave has blob-like tendencies.

Dave IS fucked up, the poor man.

Dave has sold his soul to the Devil, or at least to Tom Fuentes, who has got to be close to Satan. He hisses and spits like a viper. I smell sulphur when he enters the room. His head spins.

OK, Chunk ... your blog, your definitions, but you should really consider renaming your blog to, "The fucked-up world according to, Chunk."

Sold his soul yes - but for what? he didn't even get Fuentes' nod for the county treasurer's seat! so what is Dave getting oiiut of this?
