A map of Romania

The green section is known as Transylvania.

The blue section is known as Wallachia, the area ruled by Vlad the Impaler--Dracula, sort of.

See Romania (Wikipedia)

The location of Romania's capital, Bucharest:

Naturally, Bucharest is the home of the University of Bucharest

Factoid: evidently, Vice Chancellor Andreea Serban held a position at the U of B.

I went through Romania once on a night train to Beograd. They woke us up in Bucharest and made us show our passports. Then I fell asleep again.

Yeah, but what is the coast like? Resorts? Beaches?

Tell me about the surfing.

And the club scene.

I bet that Serban gal would know. She looks like a disco queen to me. What could be better than a Transylvanian disco queen?
