OC Reg
California Gov. Gavin Newsom on Thursday ordered the state’s 40 million residents to stay at home, restricting non-essential movements to control the spread of the coronavirus that threatens to overwhelm the state’s medical system.
“This is a moment we need to make tough decisions,” Newsom said. “We need to recognize reality.”

About time, I think. Trump and company knew about this over a month ago. Some Senators profited from the knowledge to share with those folks who put them in office--Senator Burr sold, according to reports, some 1.7 million in shares. Others did too.

Trump and Putin want donald trump back in office for another term.

Our CA governor was ahead of the game but that game was skewed because of the White House, filled with, apparently, inexperienced folks who did not and seem to do not rely on experts as this crisis evolved. What a price to pay!

How about our own administration that, we now know, strongly suspected a manager had contracted the virus, but still mandated classified staff work in the potentially contaminated space? This manager has now tested positive and hopefully no one else contracted the virus, but still pretty callous to play with the lives of employees like that. Sorry to rant. I’m just feeling really down about the level of respect administrators apparently have for us.

I don't know the manager but the person may not have know he or she was carrying the virus.

I can't imagine the person knew. I do think everyone is doing what they could with the information they had. Can you imagine if Glenn was in charge? The guy who liked to play Scrooge (or King and at the last minute grant a half day off for Christmas? I really don't think they recognized what we now know.

But yeah, scary times! But Trump thinks all will be well for the Whit House Easter Hunt!

I don't think 2:40 was blaming the sick person. I think it was more of an issue with the administrators who decided it was a good idea to keep making everyone else come in after a potential exposure.
