I think I'm in love
I loved this recording when I was a kid (back in '65). I always assumed that the lead singer was male, but no, it was the lovely Beverly Bivens, as live video/recordings make clear. She attended Santa Ana High School and OCC, but the band hailed from the Bay Area. She bailed from the biz after a couple of years. Influential. Composer Sylvia Fricker's original version of this song (1964) is pretty good too, but lacks the jangly guitars and rock beat. Love those jangly guitars.
