Steam heat!

Rebel Girl's own camera failed her today so here is a stock photo of cleanliness.  Come to A-200 and see for yourself.
Today it was brought to Rebel Girl's attention that the A-200 restrooms, usually bio-hazards by mid-morning, had been, by dawn's early light, power-washed and steam cleaned.   They are now gleaming - even the stalls where visible dust had been rising for some time now like distant storm clouds on the horizon.  Colleagues, staff - and yes, students, told her all about it.  (It's really something when your students speak to you about the restrooms.  Just sayin'.) She had to go see for herself.  She tried to take a photo, but somehow clean is much more difficult to photograph than filth.  You'll have to see for yourself.

So many thanks to those who labored on this project.

For your enjoyment below,  "Steam Heat," a clip from the unlikely pro-labor musical, "The Pajama Game."  "Fellow union members, that's what we're doing: getting HOT!"

So JE has finally cracked the whip! Thank you, our hero, Mr. Edwards.

I do not think a whip was cracked. Besides, isn't that one the the problems - temper?

The metaphor injecting violence in the workplace is problematic but perhaps apt for the situation. Yes, everyone wants a boss with a whip, right? That's the problem here.

Pretty sure Mr. Edwards had absolutely nothing to do with it; unless you count efforts to hinder the process.

Well, gee, ya think JE's increased presence has anything to do with it? Workers quit shirking when they know the boss is watching them. Next, they ought to RF ID all of them so John can monitor their whereabouts from his computer screen!

I agree 7:38 am. Hey 10:14 John lover.I'm sure he didn't crack anything if the job was done by his department I'm sure it's because they finally had time or it was done on some kind of over time.

Special thanks to the IVC Health Dept. for bringing the messy bathrooms up to the attention of the administration. Had nothing to do with JE.

John needs to have a rfid. That way he knows where his crazy self is.
