It was 40 years ago today

Judging by this old newspaper clip, the “James B. Utt” Memorial Library was first opened "for public viewing" exactly 40 years ago today.
Of course, it isn’t called that anymore, a consequence (sort of) of the recent Renovation. The building is now called the “Learning Resource Center” or LRC  "Learning Resources Center (LRC) and Library."
