Had to cross the creek tonight, and it wasn't easy in my Chrysler 300. The water is amazingly high and fast. All mud. Sheesh.

Since we lost power for about twelve hours, we didn't realize at first that there've been rain and mud issues all over the county: Laguna Canyon, Laguna Beach, Dove Canyon, etc. The OC Reg pictures tell quite a story. But the potential for big disaster is still high in nearby Modjeska Canyon, which experienced so much fire destruction two years ago (or was it three?).
