 81759 - 49.3

NANCY PADBERG
10079562.2

I've done some quick and dirty checking, and it appears that there is no applicable "automatic recount" provision for elections with close results. Does anyone know? And must the candidate pay for the recount?

You have outdone yourself...first the Prendergast win and then a selection of Linda Ronstadt...It's going to be a great day.....

One niggling worry: as of this moment, they've reported on perhaps 165,000 votes (Prendergast/Muldoon). But, in some past races, the totals have been in the 285-485K range. Possibly, few voted on these races. Possibly, only a fraction of the votes have been counted. The latter seems more likely. "All precincts" does not mean "all votes." so I'm waitin' and seein'. --BvT

The League of Women Voters seems to indicate that there were 631,000 ballots: “38.9% Voter Turnout (631,030/1,621,934)”
We’re only seeing 160,000 votes counted. That’s 25% of the ballots. --BvT
