From the archives: Montana, 1982

Little bro Ron, at the Jenni ranch.
Somehow, this one speaks to me. Don't know who took it.

Kathie and Annie
Annie's trek to Montana was a complete fiasco, as I recall.
But everybody helped and we managed to get her there.

Opa and Annie
Don't know who ordered the rainbow.

Ron with Ildy and Attila at the Jenni ranch.
Those two were just the greatest pups. Attila was very sweet natured and a great pal. Everyone  treated Ildy as the princess of the family. Really. She tended to run things. But she was a very sweet little girl and did a lot of "talkin" to my mom, among others. Bill (Attila) always yelled at me if he hadn't seen me for a while. Ildy disapproved of such displays.

A ghost town north of Lewistown, MT

The Jenni ranch, about 15 miles west of Lewistown, which is exactly at the center of the state.

Ron, Opa, and Opa's tiny dog, Slipper. Opa seemed to love that dog, though he'd often say such things as, "Sometimes I tink dat ting has no brain atall!"
