What was Raghu thinking? And why does he think that he can dictate who will be a dean at Irvine Valley College?
I suppose we should ask Mr. Fuentes, Mr. Williams, Mr. Lang, and Mr. Wagner. They seem to love the guy, especially when he's rotten and incompetent. Maybe he'll get another raise.

2. CORRUPT RAT BASTARD C.[Sheriff Mike] Carona was known for his caring touch at the funerals of fallen deputies. He could be stoic and tearful. The same jaw that jutted into the air at his court appearance would tremble ever so slightly at the funerals. He was strong yet caring. He even went so far as to buy gifts for the children of fallen officers.
At least that was his public persona. But the indictment paints a different picture of a man who with his friends allegedly schemed to profit off widows. (OC Reg)
Just how rotten can a pious Christian, IVC “Hometown Hero,” and “America’s Sheriff” be?
Well, pretty goddam rotten. Check out the story in today’s Times (Carona allegedly steered deputy's widow to co-conspirator: Federal indictment against the Orange County sheriff alleges kickback from settlement) and yesterday’s OC Reg (Sheriff accused in kickback plot: Sheriff's officials got portion of $340,000 meant for wife of deputy who died in 2001, indictment alleges).
It's only a matter of time, of course, before Carona resigns.

I don't think Carona will resign. The county will pay him to stay home during the trial. When he loses, they will order him to return his salary. By then, he will have spent it all on legal fees. It will be a mess. And the County Sheriff's Office will have been set back decades. Just like the SOCCCD has been set back by the corruption of hire-a-pal, destroy-dissent tactics.
Holy hell, that's some messed up mentality. Honestly, who can do that and think they're being GOOD?
I assume they think they're good because, who honestly wants to be bad?
He was left with a 20,000 dollar bail, Carona is sticking to his job...

On a troll scale, I give you a 2 out of 10. Mainly for redundancy in your use of "Trust", "God" and "Light."
Also, you didn't even bother to contextualize it; you just used an old cliche. Why not say something like "God has chosen this man because he is favored over you (heathen!)"
That'd at least earn you a 6 out of 10, just because "God" is such a familiar trolling term here though. Perhaps something like, "The Alpha and the Omega has chosen this man because he is favored over heathens such as yourself."
Complimented with a delightful cherry such as "Suck it Chunk." would earn you a nice round 8 out of 10.
And I'd chuckle.

The exiting dean recommended Dan Rivas and Mathur insisted on Serafin. Two days ago, both were scheduled to be interviewed, but Serafin withdrew.

He makes all sorts of promises to you about "eternal life" and "salvation" and "redemption" and other such crap. And I have no problem with you believing any of that BS. But, the effect of these beliefs in otherworldly rewards simply allows you, and others who also wrongly believe as you do, to continue to fuck this planet. So, please find another god. Or, better, give up the notion altogether. You might just find peace and happiness in THIS life!
Do not worry about "the planet," 3:09. The plant will survive until the Lord decides otherwise. Worry about your own salvation and accept the Lord Jesus Christ. It is sad that you believe in saving "the planet" when you lie to yourself about our holy Father. Accept Jesus Christ as your savior and he will forgive you. Go with God, my friend.
