The "Tan" singer is hot!!

The "Tan" singer is an example of the worst of cultural imperialism.

no, she is a symbol of the power of assimilation!

Anonymous said...

No, she is someone's good idea such as: we need some entertainment for the weekend rally, does anyone have any ideas?

Anonymous said...

No. She is simply a scantily clad woman dressed in red and black underwear with fishnet stockings and thigh-high black leather boots belting out an adaptation of a Tammy Wynette song from that back of a pick-up truck in a Orange County strip mall.

Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.

Dunno about all that.

I think I'm in love.

You know, every now and then as I access this blog, I think, perhaps SOCCCD, at least its faculty, is ready for a change. Then I read the posts and realize that you all are stuck in your own little mental and emotional time warps. At one time I thought I could help you escape. Now I think, why should I bother? Not only are you comfortable in your discomfort, but you revel in it. I once thought I might run as a BofT member in 2008. Heck. Why should I do that? It would benefit me only in a barest of ways. Before it begins, I think I will pull my candidacy. At this point, I find myself wondering if you people do not DESERVE on every level what you have.

Discouraged in Mission Viejo and a professor out of your district.

You are easily discouraged.

So go.

Time warp, huh?

Take a longer look, bud. Do you think people should be happy with mismanagement and misuse of public funds?

You're probably of the ilk who takes the money an runs. Just a job, right?

I love the OC! We're the best!

Sounds like you thought just because you would run for a seat on the BofT - you might win. pretty full of yourself - aren't you? I for one am glad you discourage so easily - we need someone with a backbone - and not just out for personal gain.

That's just what we need another "professor" on our board. Try getting a real job for a change.

I do not know why I bothered to look back at the responses to my post, but I am glad I did as they have galvanized my resolve. Chuck, you used to be so much stronger; you are a shadow of your former self. You almost seem enamored by T. Fuentes. How sad.

Frankly, in response to one of your quick-to-judge, but not-very-informed posters, I am not "discouraged" easily; indeed, “persistence” and courage have been my hallmark. You know so little just who you are disrespecting, one who has walked among you, been your advocate and your peer, and earned your respect for work on your behalf. And now this person looks at you and thinks, why should I bother with these people?

I do not need the headache of trying to convince you of my merits. You know as much as I have empathy for the plight of instructors anywhere, you people warrant your, for lack of a better word, “karma.”

One who was one of you, who participated in your votes of no-confidence and special elections.
