The scary thing is spokesman's uber-reasonable American guy appeal.
How about when the crowd went nuts, cheering Perry's record number of executions?
But something is happening here
But you don't know what it is
Do you, Mister Jones ?
Anon @ 9:32
That was chilling. I heard on the radio this am how Perry executed at least one innocent guy - knew it at the time - and then proceeded to fire the people investigating it.
Rick Perry does not believe in evolution. Ironically, he's actually the best example that perhaps he's correct.
And what's the alternative to the GOP? More of the get whitey-Pigford admin?
2:48, you've wandered onto this blog by mistake. If you don't have a point, don't comment.
That was the point.
Chilling ad, indeed. I can't help but be reminded of pre-Nazi era ideas and, actually, full-on Nazi ideas. (The word "ill" in the ad can be seen as a perception of legal immigrants as part of a disease.) The creepiest thing I've seen in awhile. Thanks for drawing our attention to it. (Did the mainstream media comment at all on it?)
OK 2:48, I'll bite. What does "get whitey-Pigford" mean? At least give us that.
Read about the "Pigford" case here.
It's just another case utterly misconstrued and exploited by the right wing.
The real scandal of Pigford is more about thousands of “supposed” black farmers who each collected $50,000 for alleged discrimination. The facts are that a great percentage of recipients were never farmers, never owned a farm, or had any relations to farmers or the farming industry, yet they were still paid their “share” because they falsified statements on their claim forms. Some were awarded their claim because they stated they intended to own a farm someday. Many of these payouts went to urban claimants living in multi unit buildings, hardly farm settings. Billions went to scammers and this admin. failed to verify who really was or wasn’t a farmer, like how they fail to enforce our immigration and voter intimidation laws. Selective enforcement of our laws as the means of backdoor-ing redistribution of wealth. Not to mention the multi-millions that went to all the attorneys in the case. Huge waste of our money.
The antidote to the above Kool-aid pond is here.
Ahhhh, the huge relief of respect for facts, care, and reason.
Thanks for the link and for your respect for truth, BvT.
