My county Pen Pal wrote me again today. As you know, he has requested John Williams' submitted timesheets in connection with his county job as Orange County Public Administrator/Guardian.
One timesheet (see below) covers the period from April 13 to April 26, 2007. Check it out.

On this particular timesheet, Williams indicated that he worked on Friday (the 13th), Monday (the 16th) and Tuesday (the 17th), etc. (See.)
But here’s the curious thing. Pen Pal has also requested and has recently received more information regarding Williams’ travel in connection with the South Orange County Community College District where, as you know, he is a trustee. (PP made the request through Tracy Daly.)
According to that information (see detail below), Williams spent April 12-17, 2007 in Tampa, Florida, on the district’s dime (at the American Association of Community Colleges Annual Conference).
Gosh, how can that be? How can John Williams be working at his County job in California while simultaneously enjoying the luxury accommodations of a hotel in Tampa, Florida?
Pen Pal informs me that these timesheets are filled out under penalty of perjury.
He (or she) has found other discrepancies.
Stay tuned.
