Jeanne's place is in Tustin, and it's lovely, inside and out.
Limber Lou played with the dog. He was pretty smiley. Lou, I mean.
Bea w/ flan, I think.
Kate & Brenda sat on the porch, like Andy & Barney. I think I was Floyd.
Steve (& Jeanne). You'd never guess lookin' at him, but Steve's our "religion" guy. He's good.
Shel w/ shark cap. I see him maybe once a year, and he's always wearing that thing. (He always reminds me that I gave it to him.)
Lisa, observing me on the floor with my camera, seemed dubious. "Taking pictures up ladies dresses, eh?" said a nearby Red Emma. Nope, I was just down there talkin' with the dog.
Red qua Dick—and Fumiko qua Fumiko.
Frank grabbed my camera with a big show of annoyance. He took a snap of Jeanne 'n' me.
Karima, dean of H&L, among other things.
Lou was happy, playin' fetch with a drool ball. I hosed it off.
Jeanne reads to Lou. Somethin' about executing a servant girl for spillin' milk. You know: a children's book.
Jan & Jeff are happier than ever, I think. Somebody said that they're retiring. Could be.

Subdued
MY FRIENDS down south tell me that, at today’s special meeting of the District Leadership Council, Chancellor Mathur briefly held forth on his recent court experience, lecturing those in attendance.
Given his key role in the disastrous & embarrassing & disturbing Rodney Poindexter episode--which of course yielded his recent courtroom adventure--one might suppose that Mathur would take the opportunity to warn others against his many and egregious errors.
I'm told that he acknowledged no errors.
Then he asked for questions. There were none.
The meeting was over.
Maybe somebody told the fellow to take the high road and he thinks this is it.
