How does this keep happening with our 24/7 campus police? Over the holiday break the thiefs got away with 3 new Macs from BSTIC. Our police are some of the best, yet they keep getting outsmarted. Very strange...
Why wasn't there an announcement sent out to the college community about these two incidents?
They would embarrass a president and NO one wants that at IVC.
Hurry up and put the damn exterior cameras up already! Will talks a good game, but, executes poorly.
What foul and carbuncular louts!
I hope the smashed exterior window was screwed shut
The smashed exterior window was indeed screwed shut.
Statistics support that the majority of theft is from inside the organization - the items taken in this case are very specific - initial investigation should focus on who inside the institution knew about these items - once that is established, focus on motive - quick cash turnaround for drug habit would be one motive - list others to lead to obvious and not so obvious suspects. Your coppers are good, but they can't be everywhere at once. Cameras are good but catching the rat bastards and prosecuting them sends a strong message of deterrence - good luck!
Many break ins have occurred around the times of events on campus. A huge event was at IVC only last weekend. It gives outsiders the opportunity to visit the campus with the guise of being here for a huge event but they are actually looking for weak areas of access. It would see prudent for Campus Police to be particularly visible at these times so our community sees their presence on campus and all over campus outside of the main activity. While our cops cannot be everywhere at once and of course we all know this, our inability to rely on Campus Police in any consistent way is well known and this ongoing situation has not been managed properly for a very long time. A more proactive approach in general would be welcome.
cameras!!!!!
Maybe this was part of an Administration Of Justice experiment.
You are correct 8:26, sadly our President needs no help in embarrassing himself.
