Brief, but fun, scenes from the January, 2000, meeting of the SOCCCD board of trustees:
See the infamous "Pteddidactyl." Frankly, I thought the graphic made her look great. But whaddoo I know.

Moral of the story, sue and you'll achieve your Nirvana.
Incidentally, Wagner was eloquent. His message is co-exist, people, and try to be civil, even you atheists.
ah yes, Don Wagner, champion of co-existence!
What ever happened to Teddi?
Didn't you watch the video? She is and has been for some time the Director of District Human Resources. She is widely regarded as incompetent.
Let's all pray to our imaginary friend.
What children.
Wow. That Lorch is a real model of tolerance and inclusion of differing points of view. No wonder your District is so screwed up.
Only in America can you seek to secure a job and, when rejected, sue and win that job.
And a right winger too.Sheesh!
It doesn't hurt to have friends on the Board. Ah, politics. It's not what you know, it's who you know.
"No harm no foul"? I'd tend to agree, were it not for the larger setting, which continues to be a pattern of Christians proceeding on the basis of Christian assumptions and a Christian worldview--and doing so qua government actions and policies.
Take our knee-jerk support of Israel, a source of tremendous consternation toward us in the Islamic world. The Israeli/Jewish lobby gets what it wants, ultimately, because we are a "Christian" nation that must, of course, defend the "chosen people" in the "Holyland."
Speaking as a non-theist, it is absurd, wrong, and hugely unfortunate that we continue to provide essentially unqualified support of Israel, a nation with a nasty record of abuse.
