UC [President Mark] Yudof warns pay cuts possible for workers
The University of California's huge workforce could face salary cuts and furloughs if the state's economy continues its downward spiral, UC President Mark Yudof has told his staff.
In a memo this week, Yudof said he has instructed his top deputies to "begin planning for the possibility of employee furloughs and/or temporary and permanent salary reductions" as a response to the state's continuing budget crisis.... (San Francisco Chronicle)

No one appears immune but then we are still in a secure business, except where ATEP is concerned. That has become our black hole and a series of smoke screens about supposed "partners" but NO signed contracts making us so. And no clear budget on what has been spent. It draws down Basic Aid money.
And now IVC, according to the IVC college president, has 18 acres to place "temporary" buildings for ATEP, including, possibily, Saddleback's Nursing Simulation Labs.
The dog and pony show at Saddleback last Wed revealed one cover up after another. No transparency, no direct answers to questions posed by faculty, staff and administrators.
Clapton is God.
