Former IVC President, Glenn Roquemore, left California Southern U (Wikipedia repeatedly notes: "Not to be confused with the University of Southern California") maybe 8 months ago; perhaps earlier.
Gosh, I wonder why Glenn left that silly "online" institution after such a brief stint (fewer than two years)? Maybe it was too fabulous.
So what's he been doin' since? Well, he's started a new business, an educational consulting firm:
- Irvine Valley College president abruptly steps down after 17 years (OC Reg) Oct 31, 2019
- So it's true: Roquemore's the new Chance at "California Southern University" on Harbor, (DtB) Jan 27, 2020

Glen "bans" certain people from looking at his LinkedIn pages, that's why you can't see what he is up to. You also can't see what he is posting on other people's LinkedIn pages. I guess he learned from that time you found those FB photos of his Hawaiian vacation with faculty member who was up for tenure at the same time Glen was about to deny tenure to two other faculty members. That was a sticky situation for him.
A faculty friend has sent me some LinkedIn graphics. Thanks, dude.
Did Glenn give himself that title of "President Emeritus"? I can't imagine the district did. I don't recall any other president emeriti... Seems his hasty departure mid-semester and quick alliance with another institution as president and chancellor wouldn't merit this particular honorific. Traditionally it is bestowed upon a person for the LAST office held, so Glenn could be the Chancellor Emeritus of Cal Southern Univerity but NOT IVC.
Glenn appears to be using images taken by IVC media department to promote his new business.
Glenn must be trying to figure out who is sending you these screenshots.
"Team Glenn" consisted of some seriously hateful, twisted people, like the all popular, well loved VC, whom GR promoted into a management position.
Check out the lawsuit filed against the district and VC for unlawful discrimination against a handicapped man and former employee, Mr. Michael Howard.
I've read the lawsuit, everyone should. VC was extremely cruel to this gentleman. He routinely mocked his disability in front of others and used methods of discipline to eventually fire him for "poor performance." VC also retaliated against Mr. Howard for filing HR complaints and the district did nothing.
Filed in OC Superior Court on 6/16/17, Case #30-2017-00926653-CU-WT-CJC (public record)
Eventually the district and board got around to settling it for $60,500. Trustee Wright reads out the settlement following a closed session @ 2:40

I just heard the assistant director of facilities and maintenance at IVC, Mark Wheeler, just got terminated over some questionable dealings. Does anyone have any information about this?
