Why are we not seeing any threads or commentary on the huge SCOTUS losses to the Obama admin's govt. overreach over the last week? Remember the ACA, the president's signature legislation, i.e. Hobby Lobby, Little Sisters of the Poor, etc... Religious Freedom. Unions: the 9/0 SCOTUS loss of the president's phony recess appointments to the NLRB.
How about the HUGE scandals, i.e. IRS & VA?
Is it that these issues do not fit the blogodero's narrative that everything is hunky-dory; gay, non-religious, and Democrat? We'll see about that in November.
So, 2:09, in your view, we offer a "narrative" according to which:
- "Everything is hunky-dory"
--Well, no, that's not our narrative. It is far from that. I guess you don't read the blog regularly--or carefully. Things pretty much suck, though they are improving here and there.
- "Everything is gay."
--Well, again, no. We do think that there should be more gayness in the world, though. But, really, you don't have to participate. You can stick with your opposite-sex cousins.
-"Everything is non-religious."
--Would that that were so! I kid. Actually, I have never opposed religion or religiousness. But I do I believe that religious persons should not impose their religion on the non-religious. Got it?
-"everything is Democrat"
I do believe that you mean to say "Democratic." No, I have a low opinion of the Democratic Party, though I much prefer them to the anti-Science and intolerant Republican Party. Those people are beyond the pale.
Are we clear now? Now go back into your cave.
