Partial Buzz

     In case you missed it, check out last night's "live and direct" report from the October Board Meeting--in which we learn that our next Chancellor is none other than GARY POERTNER.
     He'll start in December. Looks like he's "permanent."

● Report: Colleges should offer more online classes (California Report)

     A new report from the Legislative Analyst's Office is urging the state's public colleges and universities to expand online classes and degree programs – a concept the report says could boost efficiency and access to public higher education in California.
     The report comes as the University of California is getting the ball rolling on a controversial proposal to develop online-only bachelor's degree programs....

Tried to access the post on Red County Todd vs Tony but access denied. Went directly to site and clicked on article - same thing. Got out went back in article gone! Seems fishy!

The OJ Blog is notoriously squirrely. What you experienced might involve innocent fumbling or technical problems. Let's see what happens. The editor is a very honest guy, I think (Vern). --BvT

The OCR had the same problem with their last Spitzer/T-Rack story - no access to story. By the time Edds got it back online, it was too far down the list to peek any interest. Very fishy!
