Sprite visits

Inexplicably, Bohrstein asks what kind of beer Sprite was examining. It was Bass, though the hairy little guy was actually uninterested in it. At left is a shot of the booze I offered my friends last night at our very smallish get-together preceding their travels to Italy next week. I favor the Pilsner Urquel. The tequila was for my friend. Good stuff, I'm told.

Oh, this is such an adorable little doggie. He or she looks like my sister's dog Charlie. I'm sure that he or she is definitely really warm & friendly too.:-)

I know this is supposed to be about a nice dog and good beer and all, but I noticed a report of anarchists at the Republican convention. Naturally, I thought of Red Emma and DtB:

One of the anarchists threw a bottle of Dasani water at a police car. Must be a middle-class anarchist.

Thanks Chunk!

The inexplicable:
I'm kind of new to the world of drinking. It's evident I am a "beer guy," but I am still looking for "my flavor".

Leinenliugels is a nice n' tasty beer. Heineken is always my fail safe in the restaurant. You can bet that my next trip to the market will probably involve me picking up a case of these (maybe not the patron, I'm not interested in sickness -- I'm a light weight).

Man, I miss the days when I could drink. Pilsner Urquell was the brew of choice. God knows if you can still get it these days, or if one must make do with Czechvar -- supposedly intimately related, but distinct.

PU is readily available, Jonathan, not that you should touch the stuff. It's the only beer that i genuinely like.

Beer makes you blue. Friends make you gold. Especially furry ones. One has to weigh it out, I suppose.
